Connie Schultz, a syndicated columnist and the wife of Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio, made a right-wing blogger look like a damned fool:

Email from conservative blogger, dated July 9, 2012:

Dear Ms. Shultz,

We are doing an expose on journalists in the elite media who socialize with elected officials they are assigned to cover. We have found numerous photos of you with Sen. Sherrod Brown. In one of them, you appear to be hugging him.

I am surprised you did not find a photo of me kissing U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown so hard he passes out from lack of oxygen. He’s really cute.

He’s also my husband.

July 17: Waiting, I’m waiting….

Basically, some right-wing blogger, whose name was redacted by Schultz to protect his identity, tried to use a picture of Schultz hugging Brown to suggest that Brown was having an extramarital affair with Schultz, however, unbeknownst to the right-wing blogger, Schultz is actually married to Brown. Anyone who knows the definition of “extramarital affair” knows that one can’t have an extramarital affair with his or her spouse.

Connie Schultz made some right-wing blogger look really dumb, and I got a kick out of it!
